As we were in the neighborhood, and disapointed, we figured it couldn't hurt to swing by the design centre for UQAM and see what they had to offer, and we were pleasantly surprised. When we walked in we had no idea if there was in fact going to be a show there, but boy were we happy.

Dominique Petot's piece, called méridienne, a couch/love seat/day bed sort of thing was really, really nice.
