I've been trying to figure out the hows and the whats about video games in art in my head amd suddenly things got a whole lot more complicated.

The Integrated Systems Laboratory is giving away Syzygy.
Indiana University's Advanced Visualization Lab has the the John-e-Box. Unfortunately, they want cash.
Ars Electronica has a bunch of stuff some for sale, some for free.

Which leads us back to Chicago.
