Getting better...

Howdy!

In today's Gazette, there's a nice article by David Theodore (a Research Associate and College Lecturer at the McGill University School of Architecture) where he re-writes and expands upon what he wrote about Champ Libre in the November 2004 issue of Canadian Architect for what I hope is a new audience. Thankfully he avoids using quotes like "metonymic scenography" and "the harmonization of...the incinerator with its containers, the installation and the artist's works" which I assume he thinks is appropriate for Canadian Architect and inappropriate for the Gazette. He gives a sweet history of Francois Cormier's baby that makes it sound like it is the kick-ass organization I've heard it is.

The only negative thing I can think of, is why now? They have nothing new scheduled until April, 2006, and haven't done anything since September. Are the Gazette's editorial hurdles so large that it takes two months to get an article approved?
