Under Pressure gets above ground

Howdy!

Yesterday, I wrote a post about the interesting situation the city of Montreal finds itself in, simultaneously trying to eradicate graffiti and at the same time giving the impression that they are allowing it to thrive.

Well, today, a bunch of journalists pick up on that as well.

Notably, Patrick Lejtenyi and Scott C of the Mirror, and Brendan Murphy of Hour magazine, who both point out the hypocrisy inherent in the situation.

Unfortunately, T'cha Dunlevy of Gazette fame, chooses (or was told) to concentrate on the celebrity factor, instead of the local political angle.

I can only assume that Le Devoir won't write anything, as it seems that they mention Under Pressure only in even numbered years. (the 2002 version, and the 2004 version).
