Sandra Martin talks to Eli Langer
Howdy!
In all the hubbub over the election, I bookmarked this article from the Globe and Mail, because it seems to give a sort of overview of freedom of expression in Canada. Upon a closer read, it isn't so much of an overview as a "what do they think, now?" sort of thing.
Ms. Martin spent an hour talking with Eli Langer, who was busted on obscenity charges in 1993.
Nice, easy and breezy on a tough topic, there is a particularly poignant episode detailed at the end, brings tears to your eyes.
