Who would've thunk? I'm not a big hockey fan, so I wasn't as familiar and up to date on who Richard Brodeur was or how significant he was to the psyche of Vancouver. This article (in the sports section!) quickly brought me up to speed. Richard Brodeur's paintings, a painting of Richard Brodeur, (someone should get them together...) and the bear M. Brodeur painted. And then finally, if you're in Vancouver, and are free on August 10, you might want to do this.
