Andrzej Pluta makes it big in DC

And I thought the Montreal-Cincinnati connection was a tad bizarre, via Lenny (who also happens to be the gallery guy) I discovered that Andrzej Pluta not only had a show at the Fraser Gallery, but that he was from Edmonton, and that he got a very nice write-up (albeit short) in the Washington City Paper by Louis Jacobson.
Yowsuh! 2,375 miles for a show. I realize that this ain't nowhere near to a record - but it still is pretty darn far. Props all around.
